Make mornings easier
After the appointment, ask how to brush or arrange the finished shape without fighting the hair’s natural direction. For longer hair, discuss a gentle detangling routine and where to begin brushing. For a shorter cut, ask whether a small amount of styling product is useful or whether the shape can simply air-dry.
Notice how the haircut behaves during school, sports, and bedtime. If the fringe falls into the eyes or a section is hard to manage, make a note for the next visit. Those everyday observations are often more useful than choosing an entirely new style every time.
